First Aid Course

On the 20th and 27th of October, students attended a first aid course. They learned how to properly do CPR and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), how to take care of someone if they faint (whether that be because of low sugar or having a heat stroke or seizure) or any other reason. They also learned how to identify whether a person is conscious and responding or not, and putting that person into the correct recovery position. The class was led and taught by Garry, a guest teacher, who taught the class in a memorable manner.

At the end of the lesson, the students were given a booklet with information about anything they haven’t covered during the lesson. Everyone really enjoyed this experience.
