Halloween 2020 At Loreto Balbriggan

On the 23rd of October, to celebrate this year’s Covid restricted Hallowe’en, a Hallowe’en themed mask decorating competition was held in Loreto Balbriggan. A variety of imaginative and well-designed masks were shown and worn all around the school along with ingenious make-up facades, warding off evil spirits. The event greatly portrayed the creativity of students and staff within the school and made the school day spooky and exciting.

A non-uniform day was also organised for the whole school by the Student Council to raise money for the annual Trick or Treat for Temple Street campaign, aiming to purchase life-saving equipment for Temple Street Hospital’s paediatric patients. Students were excited to donate and to be able to express themselves through their incredible styles. The atmosphere was very lively all day and an amazing €1819.50 was raised by everyone in Loreto Balbriggan.
