Dance Workshop 2020
The Dance Workshop took place on the 8th and 9th of October 2020. Ms. Emma Kearns, our dance teacher, came in to complete two different choreographies with us. The two songs were ‘You Broke Me First’ by Tate McRae and ‘This Is Me’ by Keala Settle, from The Greatest Showman.
The choreography for ‘You Broke Me First’ was a contemporary dance. The dance we did for 'This Is Me’ was very upbeat. This whole workshop was designed to lift everybody's spirits and for all the 4th years to bond and have a laugh and, a laugh was had by all. It was an amazing atmosphere on the Friday afternoon when everybody was smiling, and people were bent double with laughter. Our P.E. teachers also joined in and had enjoyed dancing with the classes.
The activity was incredibly organised and everybody was able to adhere to the guidelines and still have fun! Different classes learned the different parts of the dance so in the future, we can all come together to perform a complete, amazing dance!
