Localise Youth Volunteering

On Wednesday the 27th of November three students, Grace, Esther and Aisling, attended the launch of the Volunteering For All programme in DCU. The Volunteering For All workshop introduces young people to the key concepts around volunteerism, it also challenges them to create a volunteering charter and survey volunteering that currently takes place. Last year’s TYs won an award for the Localise Youth Volunteering and this year we went to hear all different schools talk about their experiences and a keynote speaker Minister of State, David Stanton, at the Department of Justice. It definitely inspired us to get involved again:)
