Junk Kouture - December 2019

Junk Kouture 2019

On the 10th and 11th of December, the Transition Year students took part in the annual Junk Kouture fashion show.

The students participating in the Junk Kouture module and art students were given the task of collecting and assembling different materials that are considered as junk such as CDs, gloves, comic books and old fabrics.

They created stunning outfits that were displayed to the public. Their creative ideas have inspired many people.

This year some teachers showed their involvement in the school community by designing their own creations which were modelled by Transition Year students.

“It was a really great experience and helped me discover new skills and overcome my stage fright”- Iyobo Ugiagbe (model)

“It was an unforgettable experience”- Lorena Nita (model)

“It was really creative and all the outfits were really different showing everyone's individuality”- A member from the TY PR team.
